Program Overview
Mindful Strings Academy is a beginner-friendly violin program in Los Angeles that combines high-quality music instruction with mindfulness, confidence-building, and joyful learning. Students develop foundational violin skills while growing in focus, creativity, and self-expression in a supportive community environment. The mission is to make music education accessible, inspiring, and welcoming for every child.

Group A: Ages 5-9
Group B: Ages 10-12

Tuition
Early Bird: $250 BEFORE September 1, 2026
General: $300
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required to reserve your student’s spot in class. The deposit will be applied toward the student’s total tuition, with the remaining balance due by the first day of classes, September 10.

Yes. Violins are available to RENT for approximately $30/month at LA Violin Shop, located at 3350 W. Olympic Blvd. Los Angeles. Scholarships funds may also be available toward violin purchases/rentals (please fill out a Scholarship Form)

Absolutely! Parent involvement is welcomed and encouraged. We love having families engaged in their child's musical journey and celebrating their progress alongside them.

A. Mindful Strings is currently designed for ages 5-12. If your child is younger than 5 or older than 12, please reach out to us. We may be able to make alternative arrangements depending on your child's age, experience, and needs.

No! Welcome Day is an opportunity for you and your child to meet Miss Alex, learn more about Mindful Strings, and become familiar with our environment and staff before making a commitment to the program. There is no deposit required to attend Welcome Day.

Yes! You are welcome to submit your registration form before paying the deposit. However, your child's enrollment is not considered confirmed and their spot is not guaranteed until the deposit has been received.

Miss Alex will review your application and contact you directly by phone, text, or email with an update regarding your scholarship request.

Because Mindful Strings is a group-based program with limited enrollment, make-up classes and refunds are not available for missed classes. We encourage families to make every effort to attend each scheduled class so students can stay engaged and progress with the group.
