Miss Alex

Musician. Educator. Community Builder.

Music has always been my way of connecting people.

I’m Alexandria Harrell, a Los Angeles–based violinist, educator, and creative committed to using music as a bridge between people, cultures, and generations. From performing on Grammy and award-winning stages to bringing live music into schools and community spaces, my work is rooted in one simple belief: music has the power to heal and bring connection.

Through my performances, I’ve had the privilege of sharing music on some of the world’s most celebrated stages, while my work in education allows me to bring that same sense of connection to young people. I am the founder of Mindful Strings, a beginners violin program created to help youth explore creativity, confidence, emotional awareness, and self-expression through music.

You may have discovered me through the sounds of Harold & Belle’s Jazz Brunch, where I love creating an atmosphere that brings people together around music, culture, and community. Whether I’m performing for a room full of guests, working with students in a classroom, or creating a new experience through music, my goal remains the same:

To create meaningful experiences that move people — and bring us closer together.

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
